Angela Oguntala works across futures studies and design in a research, advisory, and consulting capacity. She works together with organizations to explore the opportunities and challenges of possible futures.
Her work spans varied fields. She is an advisor for the Scandinavian film industry and has led innovation projects for a number of organizations, including IKEA and Philips, and within various industries from healthcare to sensor technologies. Angela has served as the head of the Innovation Lab at EH Design in Copenhagen, a group focused on designing and experimenting around emerging technologies.
She is a visiting lecturer at the Copenhagen Institute for Interaction Design and is a frequent speaker in the media and at conferences on future-facing topics, including themes that explore the possible impacts of near-future technologies on culture and society. In 2014, she was named as a ‘Future Innovator’ by Ars Electronica & The United Nations ICT Agency / Hakuhodo.
