He has worked as a conductor with numerous orchestras including the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, the Hallé Orchestra, the BBC Symphony Orchestra London, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France, the Orchestra of the Teatro La Fenice, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the RTE National Symphony Orchestra, the Ulster Orchestra and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Since 2000 Christian Gansch has been a regular guest conductor of the Russian National Orchestra. He also works regularly with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales; in 2003 he made his first appearance at the Proms with them which was televised by BBC 4.In 2006 he conducted Le nozze di Figaro with Opera North and recorded for Deutsche Grammophon the five Beethoven Piano Concertos with Mikhail Pletnev and the Russian National Orchestra.Between 1990 and 2003 Christian Gansch worked as a producer for Deutsche Grammophon, a Universal Music Company. He produced 190 CDs - among them Pierre Boulez, Claudio Abbado und Anna Netrebko - which have gained numerous awards in Europe as well as four Grammy Awards in the USA. With two distinct perspectives of the musical world, as a musician and as a manager, he has been able to create a unique coaching concept, which demonstrates the similarities between orchestras and company structures. Christian Gansch compares these similarities and shows what companies can learn from the complex structures in orchestras, which from the outside look like a perfect unit to the audience. Orchestras with their high potential for human conflicts, leadership issues and complex integrated communications are a perfect example of how to bring a huge variety of specialists and instruments together to form one integrated harmonious unit. Since 2003 he has worked as a consultant for a number of major companies with direct reference to communication and "orchestral consciousness".
