Sebastian Herbst is together with Prof. Dr. med. Dr. Roth (Institute Director) Managing Director of the Roth Institute and is as such dedicated to scientific issues and their added value for entrepreneurial practice. After studying business administration, Sebastian Herbst initially worked as a consultant for various companies across all industries. He furthermore gathered experience as a manager at various companies in the area of Human Resources Management before becoming manager of the Roth Institute alongside Prof. Dr. med. Dr. Roth. In his day-to-day work, for instance, he examines the underlying neuroscientific foundations of human behavior and personality, or the implications the knowledge about these has on the design of leadership, personality development, agile work and change management in organisations. Not only in the auditorium of the Bremen University of Applied Sciences, where he lectures on organisation and leadership, obtains the audience of Sebastian Herbst many new insights from neuroscience and other scientific disciplines. In presentations, podium discussions, coachings and seminars he deals with current challenges of companies. By means of numerous interesting examples from everyday business life Sebastian Herbst succeeds in his lectures the effective transfer of these theoretical foundations into practice, which personally advances every listener.
