Jochanan Eynikel is business philosopher at the think tank of ETION, a Belgian forum for business leaders and decision makers, where he works on the interplay of ethics, philosophy and economy. As author and keynote speaker he addresses topics such as business and digital ethics, values-driven entrepreneurship & meaningful work. Furthermore he guides teams and organizations in organizational ethics and values implementation. Jochanan holds a Master in philosophy from the University of Leuven (Belgium) and Stellenbosch (South-Africa) as well as a master in journalism. He is guest lecturer on the Ethics of Technology at the Faculty of Engineering Technology/Department Computer Sciences of KU Leuven. Jochanan is author of two books. 'Robot aan het Stuur. Over de ethiek van techniek' (LannooCampus, 2017) digs into the moral and societal impact of digital technologies, AI and robotics. To keep the robot evolution human, we need to talk about values – and that’s what Jochanan does. In 2018 the book was shortlisted for Managementbook of the Year. His second book 'Check-In' (LannooCampus, 2020, English translation in 2021) delivers a philosophical perspective on meaningful work and the purpose economy. Jochanan is a frequent keynote speaker including keynotes for TEDxBrussels, Deloitte, PepsiCo, Gartner, Tech Data, Proximus, VRT Media Fast Forward, Colruyt Group, Vlerick Management School and many more.
