Kilian Kaminski is one of the three co-founders of refurbed, the fastest growing online marketplace for refurbished products in the entire DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). After graduating from high school in 2009, Kilian Kaminski studied communication and business administration in Hamburg, Shanghai and London. In 2014, he began his career at Amazon, where he most recently worked as Head of the Amazon Certified Refurbished Program and as New Key Account Manager for the largest electronics retailers. In 2017, he founded refurbed - an online marketplace for fully refurbished electrical appliances - together with Peter Windischhofer and Jürgen Riedl. With Peter Windischhofer, he is elected to the Forbes "30 under 30 Europe" list in 2019. In both 2020 and 2021, Kilian Kaminski is also named a "Capital Top 40 under 40" as well as EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2023. Kilian Kaminski is a board member of the European Refurbishment Association, as well as Chair of the Communication and Membership Working Group and regularly speaks critically at conferences, panels and other events about the legislative foundations of the electronics industry, the opportunities and the impact of the circular economy and his mission to establish a third consumer category between "new" and "used" by means of refurbishment. Kilian is a much sought-after keynote speaker and participant in numerous panel discussions and international projects.
