Viktor Mayer-Schönberger meets London Speaker Bureau

Viktor Mayer-Schönberger is Professor at the Oxford Internet Institute and one of the most sought-after experts on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence.

He deals with the social consequences of data use and highlights the need to adapt strategies on digital transformation and data use, because data and information have long since become a geopolitical power.

In our exclusive interview, Viktor Mayer-Schönberger answers our questions about ChatGPT. He tells us that it is more important for ChatGPT to sound human than to tell the truth. According to our speaker, artificial intelligence has no moral restraints therefore it is important to create a framework for artificial intelligence as soon as possible.

In an article for Harvard Business Manager, he recently wrote, together with Thomas Ramge, that ChatGPT could become DecisionGPT and become a sparring partner for management decisions. However, in this field, the large language model is still underestimated, although it could certainly help to make better decisions.
