Mario Ludwig is a biologist and bestselling author. He is Germany's animal-expert, well-known due to his books and regular TV appearances.
After receiving his diploma and doctorate, Mario worked as a research assistant at the Zoological Institute of the University of Heidelberg until 1992. Since 1993 he has been active in research and as an expert. In the same year, his successful career as an author of nature books began with "Tiere auf Wohnungssuche". His books have been nominated three times for the "Science Book of the Year".
