Christian Rätsch is enthusiastic about the simplification of life through digitalisation. He combines his passion for digital life and work with more than a decade of professional experience as head of marketing at Deutsche Telekom and another decade of management consulting. He began his professional career at the advertising agency EURO RSCG with an apprenticeship in advertising. As an independent management consultant for communication, he then worked together with a partner for various clients, including the German Association of Advertising Agencies (Gesamtverband Werbeagenturen e.V.). In a very short time, he completed a degree in business administration at the Humboldt University in Berlin, specialising in marketing and business management. Back in professional practice, he joined the management consultancy BBDO Consulting. In the following years Rätsch built up the brand and marketing organisation for T-Systems as Head of Corporate Marketing and Communications. At Deutsche Telekom, Rätsch was responsible for marketing for the business customer mass market and secured the company's market leadership in this area. After several years as a speaker, consultant and moderator for companies on their way to digitalisation, he was CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Germany from 2013 to 2022, responsible for the management of the German offices. Christian Rätsch is an expert in the digitalisation of existing processes. Topics such as brand management, brand communication, reputation on the internet, networked working and, above all, social media for companies are particularly close to his heart. In his lectures and speeches, he understands how to bring the entrepreneurial opportunities of the internet closer to traditional companies in simple words thanks to focused information.
