Prof Dr Sabina Jeschke (*1968, Sweden) can look back on an impressive career. After 12 years as a university professor and 3.5 years as a member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Bahn AG, she joined Deloitte Germany in June 2021 as a Senior Advisor specialising in technology consulting. Since January 2024, she has also been a Senior Executive Advisor and Of Counsel at the law firm WTS Legal. Sabina Jeschke (*1968, Sweden) studied physics, computer science and mathematics, obtained her doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) at TU Berlin and completed research stays at NASA's AMES Research Centre (California) and Georgia Tech (Atlanta). In 2005, she was appointed Junior Professor for New Media at the TU Berlin. She then taught at RWTH Aachen University, the University of Stuttgart and again at TU Berlin before moving into business in 2017. As a member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bahn AG until 2021, she was responsible for Group-wide digitalisation, technology development, cyber security and technical innovations, among other things. She was Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of DB Systel GmbH, DB FZI GmbH and DB Systemtechnik GmbH and a member of the Supervisory Board of Schenker AG (2018-2021) and Körber AG (2015-2020) and advised the Board of Trustees of the Körber Foundation and the Technical Advisory Board of CAPHENIA. From 2021 until the merger with Schaeffler AG in 2024, she was a member of the Supervisory Board of Vitesco Technologies AG - since November 2024 she has been a member of the Advisory Board of DPE. She is extensively involved in start-ups and founded Arctic Brains AB (since 2021, AI consulting and development), Quantagonia GmbH (since 2021, quantum computing) and complAIzer GmbH (since 2023, AI for compliance processes). Since 02/2021, she has been supporting the ‘KI Park’ in Berlin, which aims to establish itself as the leading start-up accelerator for next generation AI applications in Europe. In 2014 she was a visiting professor at the HKUST in Hong Kong and in 2016 at the SUTD in Singapore. She also holds adjunct/honorary professorships at RWTH Aachen University (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) and at TU Berlin (Faculty of Economics and Management), specialising in digital technologies and digital transformation. In October 2023, she was confirmed for a second term as Chairwoman of the Board of KI Park e.V. In June 2020, she became a board member of the German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce. She also supports the German government in the High-Tech Strategy, on the Scientific Advisory Board of the BMVI, on the Innovation Council of the Minister of State for Digitalisation, on the Digital Circle of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, on the Founding Advisory Board of the German Centre for Future Mobility (BMVI) and on the Advisory Board of the BMVg Cyber Agency. As an alumna of the German National Academic Foundation, IEEE Senior, Senator of the Acatech and Helmholz Association, trustee of the Forschungsverbund Berlin e.V. and member of the administrative board of the German Research Network DFN, she is involved in numerous committees. Since July 2022, she has also been a member of the CxO Council at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg, where she is involved in ‘Legal AI’ initiatives.
