He served as assistant to Ingvar Kamprad and Anders Dahlvig, later becoming Business Area Manager for Kitchen & Dining and subsequently Managing Director of IKEA Range & Supply, where he was responsible for product development and the global supply chain. In 2017, he was appointed President and CEO of Ingka Group, leading the company for eight years until stepping down in 2025.
