Prof. Dr. Christian Busch is a world-leading expert on innovation, purpose-driven leadership, and cultivating serendipity. He is the author of the bestselling book “The Serendipity Factor”, directs the CGA Global Economy Program at New York University, and also teaches at the London School of Economics. Previously, he co-directed the LSE’s Innovation Lab and co-founded the Sandbox Network, a global community of young innovators, as well as Leaders on Purpose, an organization convening leading CEOs. Christian Busch holds a PhD and MSc from the LSE, as well as a B.A. (Hagen: Sociology, psychology) & B.B.A. (Furtwangen & Moscow Business School: International business, economics). Dr. Busch has worked and studied in Mexico, Russia, China, Kenya, Germany, and the UK, and he has served as Senior Advisor at the National Entrepreneurs Association and at multinational companies, on the advisory boards of INACAP and RLabs, on Ashoka’s Selection Panel, and on the Jury of the African Entrepreneurship Award. He is part of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Expert Forum, and has guest-lectured at Stanford University, ESADE, IMD, Peking University, and Strathmore Business School.
