Raffaela Rein is considered a "startup heroine". According to "EU Startups", the co-founder of CareerFoundry and Vitalute, is one of the 50 most influential women in the start-up and venture capital scene. She is one of the "Forbes Top Women in Tech" 2018 and one of the "Capital 40 under 40" 2018. After graduating from Durham University with a degree in Business Finance, Raffaela Rein begins her impressive career as an investment strategist with BlackRock in London. She is then involved in the creation of three e-commerce companies for Rocket Internet in Beijing, Sydney and Taipei. For Satorion Partners she subsequently advised companies such as Etsy and Axel Springer. In 2013, she founded CareerFoundry, the first online career accelerator for techies. During her time at Rocket Internet and Satorion, Raffaela Rein experienced the shortage of IT specialists first hand. The further education platform CareerFoundry turns students, career changers and people interested in further education into web developers, UX and UI designers or iOS developers within six months and profits from the strong demand. CareerFoundry is one of the leading online training platforms for tech careers and has international customers in 80 countries and around 200 employees. Raffaela Rein is still a shareholder and "cheerleader" there today - as she herself says. With Vitalute, she has founded a new company in 2019 with which she has reinvented ginger. With the location-independent e-commerce company, whose employees can work anywhere, she distributes a ginger curcuma shot and plans to expand the range to other products. Since 2021, Raffaela Rein has been a member of the Porsche Sustainability Advisory Board and a board member of the German Startup Association.
