Valerie Haller is a charismatic presenter and news anchor and a renowned business journalist. She regularly reports live from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange for ZDF.
After a traineeship at Radio "Xanadu" in Munich, Valerie Haller studied politics and journalism in Munich. During her studies, she worked as a freelancer and presenter, at Munich's "Radio Gong" and others. Later she moved to the United States and earned her Master of Arts in Journalism at New York University. For her graduation film she was even awarded an Emmy, the most important television prize in the USA.
She then worked in New York for the business channel Bloomberg as an editor and presenter. In 1997 she moved to the New York studio of ZDF, where she worked as a producer and editor for three years.
In 2000, Valerie Haller returned to Germany and remained with ZDF. There she presents the afternoon edition of "heute" news in addition to the stock market news. She also anchors "heute in Deutschland" from 2000 to 2007 and again in 2011. Until 2011 she also was deputy presenter of the business magazine WISO.
