Ansgar Baums is Director Government Relations at Zoom. He is one of the leading policy experts for China and the digitalisation sector and is considered a digital lobbyist from the very beginning.

Baums (*1976) is a trained political scientist, he holds a Diploma in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin and a Master of Science in International Strategy and Economics from the University of St. Andrews (with distinction). He began his career as an analyst for the German Secret Service and subsequently worked for leading companies in the tech industry. Among other positions he was Director of Government Relations at SAP and Head of Global Strategy Programs at HP Inc. Ansgar Baums has been Head of Political Communications at Zoom since November 2020.

Ansgar Baums was he German Marshall Fund Commemorative Scholar 2017/18 and was graduating from the Harvard Kennedy School's Executive Education Program in Mastering Trade in 2019.

As a keynote speaker, Ansgar Baums impresses with in-depth knowledge and a wide range of experience.
