Amber Forte is a professional wingsuit athlete from Devon, UK. She is currently ranked as the #1 female wingsuiter in the world and holds the world record for the fastest female in a wingsuit. In 2018, Amber became the first female in history to place in the top 10 at an international FIA performance wingsuit competition. She later earned a silver medal in acrobatic wingsuiting at the 2021 World Championships. Amber Forte has worked as a stunt performer in a variety of movies, commercials and documentaries. Including, movie Race 3, commercial for Samsung/3mobile, award winning short film Point of no return, Norwegian TV series Værdal’n karsk & BASE and award winning short film Trustfall (staring at Banff film festival and touring internationally) and is a key character in National Geographic film FLY (a film about love and base jumping). In 2019, Amber suffered a traumatic high-speed injury, breaking both her back and thigh bone. She spent one year in rehabilitation, fighting her way back to professionalism within her sport. Refusing to give up, she decided to embark on a journey to Pakistan, determined to become the first person to leap from a mountain with a wingsuit. She was terrified to commit to this adventure in case she couldn't succeed, but she went for it anyway. Her story underscores the power of following one's heart, of embracing daunting and unfamiliar circumstances with belief in one's ability to overcome adversity. Emphasising the importance of having dreams and daring to go for them! Today, Amber aims to inspire and support people dealing with traumatic experiences and hopes to share strength and self-belief by telling her story.
