At age 14 Christian Bischoff started playing basketball, at the age of 16 he was the youngest professional basketball player in Germany ever and soon moved up to the first division. Experts considered him the biggest basketball talent in Germany. A back injury forced him to end his career at the age of 19 and at the end of his career he fell in a deep depression. But early in life he learned to deal with setbacks. he started his professional coaching career and at the age of 25 he was the youngest professional basketball head coach ever in Germany. He worked with USA head coach Mike Krzyzewski, German national team coach Dirk Bauermann and coached six German championships. Nowadays he is one of the best speakers in Germany as well as internationally. Christian Bischoff is an authentic, energizing role model.
