Brigitte Horn has many years of experience in moderating panel discussions, talks and events. Professional, approachable and with the right instinct for the audience, she leads through critical debates, interviews and round-table discussions, for example at trade fairs and congresses. After studying tourism, Brigitte Horn began her professional career in publishing, specialising in tourism in Munich, only to go travelling again a few years later to explore the world. Back in Germany, she initially continued to work in the travel and hotel industry. While working at Ludwig Musical Füssen, she got to know the world of theatre, learned a lot about the link between marketing and art and put her heart and soul into organising events. In 2002, she was asked to work in the finance and insurance industry - in the years of the New Economy. Since 2004, the business administration graduate has been self-employed and works as a freelance journalist and lecturer. For almost 20 years, she worked tirelessly as editor-in-chief of AssCompact, a leading specialist magazine for the finance and insurance industry. She regularly moderated panel discussions and events with charm and vigour. While a large part of her professional career has been based in Germany, she has spent many years in other European countries, including many years in Brussels and Vienna. She regularly focuses on the topics of finance and insurance, pension schemes, the advancement of women, sustainability, demographics and artificial intelligence from a corporate perspective. Her strengths include reacting quickly to unexpected turns in discussions and treating speakers and interview partners with respect. In terms of content, she is always well prepared and succeeds with ease in creating an appealing atmosphere for the audience.
