Prof. Dr. Britta Bannenberg (born 1964) studied Social Law in Göttingen.
From 2002 until 2008 she was a Professor of Criminology, Criminal Law and Law of Criminal Proceedings at the University of Bielefeld. Since 2008 she has been at the University of Gießen.
Her research emphasis is on corruption, victim-perpetrator-compensation, criminal violence and crime prevention.
