Carl Naughton holds a doctorate in linguistics, is a trained actor, lecturer and speaker. He has been on stage and in front of the camera for more than 17 years. From 1992 to 1995, Carl Naughton (*1970) trained as an actor at the Method Institute in Los Angeles and in London. He also studied German, Romance languages and literature and theatre education at the Westfälische Wilhelmsuniversität Münster, graduating with a Magister Artium. In 2005, he received his doctorate in linguistics, educational psychology and Romance studies from the Albertus Magnus University in Cologne. From 2003 to 2012, he taught and researched at the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Cologne. With his company Braincheck, he advises companies and uses methods and tools from his research experience in cognitive psychology as well as his acting training.
