Albrecht von Lucke is a political publicist. Since 2003, he has been editor of the renowned political monthly "Blätter für deutsche und internationale Politik". After studying law and political science in Würzburg and Berlin, von Lucke (*1967) worked as a freelance publicist. Since 1999 he works for the "Blätter für deutsche und internationale Politik", where he has become editor in 2003. In addition to his work for the "Blätter", Lucke also writes regularly for other newspapers such as "Freitag" and "taz" and appears on television and radio as a political commentator and discussion participant, among others in ARD-Presseclub, Phönix-Runde, Maischberger and Maybrit Illner. In his lively and free-flowing lectures, von Lucke analyses the trends of current political events and places the political events of the day in the larger context of contemporary history and developments. He provides his listeners with a national and global overview. Albrecht von Lucke is the author of widely acclaimed books and was awarded the Lessing Prize for Criticism in 2014.
